My contribution
I designed UI components in Figma and documented the system to ensure clarity and consistency. I collaborated closely with developers to streamline the handoff process, applied accessibility and usability principles, and supported internal teams with training and practical implementation guidance.

The Process
Discover
We analyzed existing assets and benchmarks to understand design patterns, gaps, and opportunities. The previous documentation was extensive but not actionable. Our insights helped us clarify goals and define a direction for a more usable and scalable system.
Define
We organized a prioritized backlog of components, guided by impact and feasibility. Design principles, structure, and key validation metrics were established to ensure consistency and track value throughout the process.
Design
We built advanced UI components in Figma using tokens, variants, and variables. Everything was tested and iterated in close collaboration with developers. A clear governance model was defined, and internal teams were trained to keep the system alive and useful beyond the file.
Designing for real teams made all the difference.
